SOLICITATION NOTICE - The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials and transportation to properly contain, remove and dispose of all paint on the interior surface of the raised seam, galvanized steel roofing panels inside the hangars (approximately 21,000 SF) and on approximately 8,000 LF of 1/2'' to 1'' galvanized conduits. Some or all of this paint contains lead. All work is at Otis Air National Guard Base, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Performance period is 90 days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed, prime contractor will be required to perform 75% of all work. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. All technical questions concerning contents of plans and specifications should be addressed to Mr. Bob Burt at 508-968-4234. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS (SDB) CONCERNS. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1799, ''Miscellaneous Special Trade Contractors''. Only those firms that clearly stated in their response to the pre-solicitation notice appearing in CBD Issue No. PSA- 1366 dated June 13, 1995 that they were a Small Disadvantaged Business Concern need not re-submit their requests for bid packages.
