This project consists of the complete tear-off and replacement of the existing roof as well as the addition of a new roof insulation to create positive drainage. This project also includes minor structural repairs to the existing roof structure. The work required for this project occurs on an existing building (approximately 13,484 sq. ft.) which is occupied and will continue to be occupied during course of construction. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to properly coordinate the selective demolition and reconstruction in order to maintain a weathertight, operational facility throughout the construction period and to insure a coordinated, finished installation in accordance with drawings and specifications. Construction cost is estimated in range of $100,000 and $150,000. Evaluation criteria to be used in determining the award are: Proposal amount, Experience - minimum of five (5) years as roof contractor, and past performance. The solicitation will be available on or about June 27, 1995, at a cost of $15.00 per set. Cost is Non Refundable. Do not send cash.
