This is a resubmit of a synopsis published in November 1994 with a revised due date. Companies that responded to that synopsis need not request the solicitation package again. Solicitation packages should be issued approximately 30 days from the above due date. This procurement is for 81 replacement stator blades and washers for Allis-Chalmers VA-1309 axial compressors at AEDC. Stator blades shall be fabricated by forging and machining from a single piece of ASTM-A314 type 403 stainless steel. Blades shall have conical seats and threaded shank. Delivery shall be made to Arnold AS TN within 240 days after contract award. The due date given above is an estimated date and should not be considered a firm due date for receipt of bids. Any responsible source may submit a bid that shall be considered. Firms responding to this synopsis should do so in writing and indicate whether they are a small or small minority business.
