The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, Computer Technology Division, Major Procurements Branch, 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to Innovation Data Processing, Innovation Plaza, 275 Paterson Avenue, Little Falls, NJ 07424-1658. This acquisition allows for the sustainment of existing executive software licenses from Innovation Data Processing, whether leased or owned, while also providing the ability to add lease/maintenance coverage as the DISA inventory grows either as a result of the consolidations or replacement of software products via other procurement actions. This supports continuity of operations during the DISA consolidation efforts in response to the DMRDs and Base Realignment and Closures (BRAC) by retaining the current executive software operating environment. All the executive software lease/maintenance support services from Computer Associates are for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software for which DISA is responsible. Maintenance services consist of: regularly recurring maintenance; new releases and versions (at no additional cost); right to bring DISA facilities up to the same release level; corrections, revisions with best effort for error detection and correction of reported errors; enhancements to current products with accompanying instructions for implementation and operation; and technical support for operational questions, problems or failures. This acquisition provides the ability to implement machine group upgrades through the highest group level when new CPUs are delivered or workload leveling requires loading the software onto a different CPU at a DISA facility. This acquisition allows for the inclusion of lease/maintenance services for additional executive software products justified and purchased via separate contracting actions. Executive Software is defined as: Operating Systems, System Administration, Data Base, Interactive Systems (on-line), Communications, Network Access Control, Systems Security, Bridging, Network Management, Graphics, Training, and Computer Assistance Software. The central site management identification will be DISA WESTHEM, Executive Software Group-Dayton, 2721 Sacramento Street, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-5061. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity with firm fixed prices. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. See Numbered Note 22. (0177)
