The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Support Services - Global (DSSG) on or about 14 July 1995. The DSSG will provide for services to DISA in support of the DISN Program in a number of areas including, but not limited to: program management support, engineering support, integrated logistics planning support, provisioning support, installation support, network management support, database management support, operations support, and maintenance support. NOTE: A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CLAUSE HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THE RFP AND IT SHALL BE INCORPORATED INTO ANY RESULTING CONTRACT. THE CLAUSE SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITS THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, AND ITS SUBCONTRACTORS AT ANY TIER, FROM ALSO PERFORMING AS THE PRIME CONTRACTOR, OR A SUBCONTRACTOR AT ANY TIER, ON THE DISN VIDEO SERVICES (DVS), THE DISN SWITCH/BANDWIDTH MANAGER/NETWORK MANAGEMENT SERVICES (DS/BM/NMS), OR THE DISN BACKBONE AND ACCESS BACKBONE TRANSMISSION SERVICES (DBABTS) REQUIREMENTS. Proposals will be due 60 days after solicitation distribution. A reading room with related reference material will be opened to coincide with the release date of the RFP at the DISN Program Management Office, located at 5111 Leesburg Pike, Skyline 5, 9th Floor, Room 9122, Falls Church, VA. The reading room is AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays.
