J -- MATERIAL SERVICES FOR THE AN/UYA-4(V) AND AN/UYQ-21(V) SOL N00024-95-NR-05834 POC (02512H), Wanda M. Hanshaw, (703) 602-8105; Contracting Officer, Mr. Thomas Bikowksi. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-96-G-5100 to Hughes Aircraft Company, 1901 West Malvern Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92634-3310. Orders will be issued for the material, services, and documentation including repair, maintenance, refurbishment and checkout for the AN/UYA-1(V), AN/UYA-4(V), AN/SYA-4(V), and AN/UYQ-21(V) Navy Tactical Data Systems Equipment. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1). Hughes Aircraft Company is currently the only manufacturer (sole producer) with the design and production knowledge to provide the required services. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the effort described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
