The work to be accomplished within the scope and intent of the specification includes furnishing all plant labor, transportation, test equipment, materials, parts, supplies, and supervision, as required for inspection, preventive maintenance, annual boiler inspection, routine repairs and emergency service that is necessary for the continual operation of the instrument systems of the boilers, water softeners and de-alkalizers in Building 13. The scope of work also includes various management tasks to be performed by the contractor. The solicitation wil be issued as unrestricted. Contract period is from 01 October 1995 through 31 September 1996, with four additional periods of one year each, total not to exceed 60 months. (172)
