NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue RFQ5-19852/980 on a Sole Source Basis to TSI Inc., Particle Instruments, 500 Cardigan Road, P.O. Box 64394, St. Paul, MN 55164, for the acquisition of Leasing of Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer 3934L. The TSI model 3934L Particle Sizer was chosen for compatability with the TSI mobility spectrometer and electrometer. The Particle Sizer is to be used in conjunction with the other equipment to explore the feasibility of using these instruments to measure the charge distribution on small aerosals found in the atmosphere at aircraft heights. All responsible source may repond by submitting a technical narrative statement of their capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature, demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements within 15 days of the publication of this notice to the above address, via facsimile at (301) 286-1739, or by e-mail at genia.lyons@GSFC.NASA.gov.
