702/652-2532. Work consists of furnishing all labor, supplies,
materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else
required to construct a blast media/paint booth at Indian Springs Air
Force Auxiliary Field NV. The job is located about 35 miles northwest
of Las Vegas NV. Work will include construction of a building and
complete installation of a blast-media unit and paint booth. The tasks
to be performed to accomplish this include site demolition, grading,
concrete and reinforcing steel placement, building construction,
equipment setting, utility extensions, fire sprinklers and service
backup. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000
and $250,000 with a performance period of 180 calendar days. The
applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1796 with a three year average
annual small busness size standard of $7 million. The proposed contract
listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small
disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should,
as early as possible but not later than 15 days of publication of this
notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the
contracting office above written evidence of (1) a positive statement
of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged
business concern; (2) capability to successfully perform 25% of the
work with their own labor forces (include complete references of past
performance for similar work that demonstrates the capacity to perform
projects of this complexity and magnitude); and (3) bonding and
financial capacity. Complete information concerning experience in
similar work and financial status should be submitted with references.
Evaluation of the responses received will be based solely on the
information received by the closing date. If adequate response is not
received from sufficient SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued
as unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this
notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB
concerns. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be
issued on a first come, first served basis to the extent available.
