The work includes providing 400 amps, 480 volt, three phase service thru existing four inch duct to B. 450. Manhole work is considered to be work in a confined space. Provide trench and ductbank to south-east side of B. 450. New trench is in IR Site 9 which is contaminated with heavy metals. Provide transformer and distribution panels, pad for transformer and shelter. Provide wire, conduit and disconnect for 230 volt and 480 volt services at three locations and incidental related work. The proposed procurement will result in the award of one firm-fixed price lump sum contract. During the performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 13 July 1995 at no charge until supplies are exhausted. The estimated Bid Opening date is approximately 15 August 1995. Performance time is 120 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1731. The related small business size standard is $7 million.
