The work includes an interior remodeling to seven office areas and related spaces located on the second floor. Demolition and removal of indicated doors, wall partitions, flooring, suspended ceilings along with mechanical and electrical systems. Renovations shall include installing gypsum board wall surfaces, doors, window treatment and selected architectural finishes along with incidental related work. Mechanical and electrical work shall support renovation as indicated. Remaining portions of building 110 which is a three story office complex, shall remain occupied during the performance of this contract. Estimated construction cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Item 10, bid opening date, is an approximate date only. The proposed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office in writing, Attn: Code 051C of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 28 June 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received for SDB concerns, the Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and another notice will be issued indicating set-aside decision.
