Repair Asphalt Aircraft Parking Ramp, includes the removal of existing bituminous overlay over original concrete pavement, repair of concrete cracking, milling existing concrete to level areas as needed, adjusting drainage inlets and laying a new 2 inch bituminous overlay over original concrete pavement with slope to drainage inlets. Repair of sewer lines routed under existing ramp. Work will also include application of taxiway stripping over new overlay to match original. The SIC Code is 1611. Magnitude of construction is $250,000 to $500,000. Project construction period is 45 calendar days. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued o/a 1 Aug 95 and opened o/a 1 Sep 95. Dates are for estimating purposes only and may be revised as indicated in the IFB. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, not later than 15 calendar days from the publication date of this notice, indicate interest in this acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer above written evidence of capability to perform and a written Certification of Eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest and evidence is not received for SDB concerns, the solicitation will then be issued on an unrestricted basis to large and small businesses, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns, as well as from SDB concerns. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
