The project consists of furnishing plant, material, labor, equipment, supplies and performing all operations relative to Repair Flight Records and Repair Flight kitchen, Project numbers TMKH 94-1056 and TMKH 95-1037. Demolish existing walls, doors, windows, dishwashing room and finish materials to extent indicated on the drawings (approximately 4500 SF in an existing building). Provide new aluminum windows and aluminum entry systems as indicated. Provide new partition walls, doors and hardware for office area, renovate toilet area and renovate food service line. Construct fire-rated partition between kitchen area and office area. Finish items include ceramic tile in food service area and in toilets, resilient flooring, carpet, vinyl base, paint, vinyl wall covering and acoustical tile ceilings. HVAC work includes the redistribution of supply and return in the renovated areas. Electrical work includes relocation of existing lighting fixtures, relocation of a telephone distribution panel, and the reuse of existing ceiling fans. Magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The contract performance period for this project is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB). Interested SDB firms need to submit their interest no later than 7 Jul 95 and provide evidence of eligibility. If adequate interest is not received from SDB firms, the solicitation will be issued unrestricted; therefore, replies are requested from all business concerns. SDB eligibility evidence to include performance references, previous similar projects completed. All responsible sources completed. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. Only written requests for the Invitation for Bid packages will be acknowledged. (172)
