Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to renovate 2nd Floor, Bldg 200, ''B'' Section, of the Department of Veterans, Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il. (Hines Il. is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago). Work will include, but is not limited to the following: Demolition, alteration, removal of walls, doors, floor covering, ceilings, light fixtures, receptacles, and switchs. New work will include providing and installing metal doors and frames, hardware, new metal studs and drywall, pass-thru sliding window, ceilings, lights, electrical and heating modifications, plaster patching and repainting of area. All work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after June 30, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompanied by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit planned for July 10, 1995, at 10:30am local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for August 1, 1995 at 1:30pm local time.
