Z -- REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION OF UTILITY LINES, BASE WIDE POC BOBBIE CLARK tel: 210/671-1732 CNT F4163695R0392 Sources sought notice: This sources sought notice is for repair, replacement, and new construction of sanitary sewer, water, gas and drain utilities on Lackland Air Force Base and Lackland Annex. The resultant contract will include replacement, or contruction and service lines including valves, fittings, appurtenances and related items basewide and military family housing (MEH) areas of Lackland Aif Force Base and Lackland Annex. A unit price bid schedule is anticipated with contract line items inclusive of all excavation, bedding pipe. backfill, compaction, testing, and clean-up. Materials will include but not be limited to the following: PVC sewer pipe, reinforced concrete drainage pipe, PVC and copper water lines, and steel and polyethylene gas lines. Appurtenances include pre-cast or cast in place manholes, junction boxes, inlets, valve boxes, and cathodic protection including impressed current systems and sacrifical anodes. The magnitude of this project (including three option years) is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Performance period is one year with three option years. Guaranteed minimum order amount for the basic year and the option years is $50,000 (basic year), $50,000 (lst option year), $50, 000 (2nd option year), and $50,000 (3rd option year). The proposed contract listed herein is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB). Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after this notice is published, indicated interest by responding to the contracting office listed above, and provide evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with telephone numbers, points of contact and contact numbers and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, evidence of ability to secure bonds relating to this project. NOTE: A 20% bid bond will be required. Performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful bidder. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
