The units are required to be fully self-propelled, roadworthy at highway speeds, and produce air at pneumatic capacity of 150 +/- 5 pounds per minute at 49 +/- PSIA. The units are to be used on the flightline to start T-38 aircraft, and for dispatch to other airfields on an as needed basis._ The desired delivery date to Ellington Field is September 29, 1995. The contract shall include an option for one additional aircraft starting unit to be exercised by December 31, 1995. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA JSC MidRange Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy on April 16, 1993. The SIC is 3728 and the small business standard is 1,000 employees.
