The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) NJ, is seeking sources, industry comments, and product information on equipment to upgrade the Navy Fuel Ventilation System, Part Number NF-20-1. NAWCADLKE is seeking a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) or Nondevelopmental item (NDI) solution that meets the Navy's requirements. The upgrade ventilation system will be used to service fuel cells in the Navy Aircraft Inventory. The desired upgrade to the Navy's system shall have the following characteristics and functions: a) Compatibility with small fuel cell access between a range of 4 to 8 inches; b) ability to ventilate multiple cells at once; c) ability to operate with the NF-20-1 system in a dual mode; d) ability to reduce purging time to a maximum of 7 hours; e) ability to operate with aircraft with foam filled fuel cell. This is not a request for a proposal, but rather a request for information for commercially available aircraft fuel cell ventilation systems. All submittals shall contain available technical and test data, pertinent brochures and user information which may provide an in depth assessment of the proposed equipment. Those sources interested in this Request for Information are invited to submit their information, and a description of any currently available product which meets our requirements. This is not a request for a proposal and no solicitation is available. The Government will not respond to any requests for solicitation packages under this request for information. The Government will not pay for any information required in response to this RFI nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
