Shepard, Jr. (816) 426-3052 Contracting Officer THIS IS NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO AWARD to Aircraft Technical Publishers, 101 South Hill Drive, Brisbane, California for aircraft technical publications (on microfilm). Firms having the capability of providing aircaraft technical publications (on microfilm) are invited to submit a sample and informtion to the procuring office listed above within 15 calendar days after notice. The publications include, but are not limited to: (a) Complete light aircraft library for under 12,500 lbs.; (b) complete helicopter library less aerospatiable; (c) Complete jet airframe and engine library; (d) Federal regulatory library with Vol I & II AD's. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Written responses, including GSA contract number, is applicable, prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement must be received by this office within 15 calendar days after notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a source more advantageous to the Government is available, an award will be made with the above named vendor. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response; however, if issuance of a solicitation is determined to be appropriate, you will be included on the bidder's mailing list. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Responses/requests for proposal must state that the vendor is not currently on the consolidated list of Debarred, Suspended and Ineligible Contractors or otherwise ineligible to receive Government contracts.
