The Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT), has a requirement for the chemistry review of the manufacturing, processing, use, distribution and disposal of new and existing chemical substances in compliance with statutes administered by OPPT including the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA), And the Pollution Prevention Act (PPA). The Contractor will be required to review, evaluate, gather and develop detailed chemistry information on a wide range of chemical substances that are subject to TSCA authority and on potential pollution reduction and prevention of associated toxic wastes. EPA anticipates the award of a Level of Effort type contract consisting of a base period plus four (4) twelve (12) month options to commence approximately 01 October 1996.
