D399 - Services, Programming to make changes and upgrade Pine Bluff Arsenal's (PBA) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). 1 Job. PBA concurrently has a LIMS which consist of several software products to include Automated Compliance System (ACS) Seedpak1 and Seedpak2, which are proprietary, DMR software which is proprietary to ACS, DG/UX, Oracle v6 and SQL*NET TCP/IP. The contractor shall be responsible for resolution of the following issues: (1) The LIMS services requires upgrade of SCO Unix and the other software products on it. There is an additional multiplexor to be installed and configured. (2) The LIMS software products (Seedpak1, Seedpak2, DMR) are to be upgraded and/or migrated to run on Oracle v7, while maintaining all of the existing functionality. (3) Customization of the upgraded versions of Seedpak1, Seedpak2 and DMR software is required. Additional customization is required on the Aviion bubble monitor. (4) New instruments are to be connected. Since Seedpak2 is to be upgraded, existing instrument connections are to be maintained. (5) Quality Control functionality is needed for the LIMS. (6) Automatic archiving is required. and (7) Training. RFP DAAA03-95-R-0067 to issue on or about 13 Jul 95 with a closing date on or about 14 Aug 95. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
