The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking qualified organizations cpable of providing Laboratory Testing Services. Contractor will pick up and transport all specimens collected at FCI, Manchester to the designated laboratory at the laboratory's expense. Pick up will occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. and on an emergency basis on Saturdays, excluding official Federal holidays. Contractor will provide requested laboratory testing on specimens received from FCI, Manchester and provide results within 24 hours via facsimile transmission, except for those tests requiring more time for completions. The Contractor shall specify which tests require more than 24 hours for return results, indicating length of time. All supplies and equipment will be provided by the Contractor. The estimated issue date of the Request for Proposal is July 17, 1995, with an anticipated Receipt of Offers date of August 16, 1995. The contract period will include a base year not to exceed twelve months with (3) one year option periods for renewal. Requests for proposals should be in writing only.
