Zangwill, (301)443-5672 The purpose of this acquisition, authorized by Title VII, Section 782, of the Public Health Service Act, as amended by P.L. 102-408, is to conduct a two-day workshop in the Spring of 1996, assembling participants from the chiropractic community to establish a research agenda that identifies clinical, educational and outcomes research needs. The workshop shall identify critical gaps in the knowledge base decribing chiropractic practice, identify strategies for expanding chiropractic research capacity; and establish a prioritized agenda for chiropractic clinical, educational and outcomes research. AWARD OF A CONTRACT RESULTING FROM THIS SOLICITATION IS RESTRICTED UNDER THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE ACT, TITLE VII, SECTION 782, WHICH LIMITS AWARD TO SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES OF CHIROPRACTIC FOR THE PURPOSE OF CARRYING OUT DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS IN WHICH CHIROPRACTORS AND PHYSICIANS COLLABORATE TO IDENTIFY AND PROVIDE EFFECTIVE TREATMENT FOR SPINAL AND LOWER BACK CONDITIONS.
