Y -- PRE SYNOPSIS - REPAIR AND RESTORATION OF WEST WING ROOMS, BARD MANSION, BLDG. 36 SOL N47408-95-T-LM07 N47408-95-B-2117 DUE 090695 POC Contract Specialist, Terry Moore, 805-982-2479 This work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for structural repairs to an area of second floor framing, and the restoration of three existing rooms, two bathrooms, three walk-in closets and one sleeping porch. The structural repairs are required to correct an existing settlement in second floor framing in west corridor. Restoration of existing spaces consists of installation of new doors and hardware, trim, woodwork, wall/ceiling finishes and painting, floor finishes, built-in cabinetry, tilework in bathrooms, operational plumbing fixtures, window screens and hardware, light fixtures, one ornamental fireplace (which need not be operational) and incidental related work. All items are to be refinished and/or replaced with period pieces or finishes, matching as close to the building's original condition as possible. All work is to be conducted in accordance with The National Historic Preservation Act of l966, as amended and 36 CFR Part 800, Protection of Historic Properties. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 07 August l995. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for l00 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns.
