Y -- FIRM FIXED PRICE/INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT TO FIX ELECTRICAL CODE VIOLATIONS IN BUILDING 475, FLEET AND INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CENTER, PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII POC J. Shimoda, 808/474-1513/Contracting Officer, A. Yuen, 808/474-1513 This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for a firm fixed-price/indefinite quantity contract for the installation of electrical equipment outside of stairwells No. 2 and No. 5 that replaces the existing electrical equipment in the interior of the stairwells, replace existing brittle and cracked insulated wiring with new, intercept existing wiring to and from existing stairwell equipment and extend to new electrical equipment, and all incidental related work. The work also includes the removal of existing electrical equipment in the stairwell that has been replaced. Replace existing two wire receptacles with new three wire receptacles. Replace wiring to receptacles with new, including ground wire. Location of this project is at Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The solicitation is a performance specification that represents the Government's minimum requirements. The contractor is responsible for and shall provide overall coordination and design of construction details (100% design drawings, shop drawings, etc.) and ensure satisfactory completion of all work covered under this contract. Estimated cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation is set-aside for small disadvantaged business concerns. (0178)
