The drifters must be certified and registered for use with the TIROS/NOAA series satellites to provide information through the ARGOS Data Collection and Location System. The successful bidder must show experience manufacturing the same or similar satellite tracker drifter by the submission of references. The drifter construction shall be in accordance with the WOCE/TOGA Lagrangian Drifter Construction Manual (WOCE Report Number 63/Scripps Institute of Oceanography reference number 91/6) except as modified by the statement of work.
