Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Co., Inc., is seeking qualified sources to provide a Workers Compensation and Risk Management system that will assist in the monitoring and administration of multi-employer, multi-tiered workers' compensation claims in the state of Nevada. The system must be currently configured to the laws and regulations of the state of Nevada. Other functional requirements include: ability to track lost time and restricted work days; pay bills; provide the capability to track claims by body part(s); use the CPT and ICD9 codes; allow the user to set up, adjust, and track reserves for medical, indemnity, legal, and rehabilitation costs on an individual and system-wide basis; provide the flexibility and capability to generate ad hoc reports and queries; provide the ability to import data from various ancillary software (WordPerfect, Lotus, Excel, etc.); provide the capability to add fields, as requirements change; provide the capability to assign roles or security to functions, thus allowing only authorized persons to perform certain tasks; provide the capability to maintain a claims history with the retrieval via the same mechanisms as the current data. Technical requirements include: support for a minimum of 10 concurrent users; provide the capability to import and export data to ASCII files or directly into an Oracle RDBMS. (174)
