s to contract with The Marine Group (TMG) of West Mystic, Connecticut, on a sole source basis for the maintenance of its unique NORCONTROL NMS-90 radar and navigation simulator. This unit is the only 12 ownship radar simulator in the world. The Marine Group was the manufacturer/installer of the system. The contractor shall be required to develop a system support program providing periodic maintenance, updating of system software and hardware and training to Academy technical personnel. The initial period of performance shall be 1 October 1995 - 30 September 1996, with the possibility of one option year to follow. See Numbered Note 22. For Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-tem working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STEP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
