The Directorate of Contracting, Fort McCoy, WI intends to negotiate and award a contract to Friden Neopost, Hayward, CA to provide maintenance of Government owned postal equipment and rental/maintenance of compatible meter heads. Equipment is located at various US Army Reserve Centers in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Government owned equipment includes Scales - Friden Neopost Models 365, 8510, 8640, 8650, 8865, SE75, SE85 and SE95 and Mail Machines - Friden Neopost Models 3000, 9130AL, 9130PL, SM52 and SM78. Rented meters are Friden Neopost Models 9212, 9248, and 9252. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Contract performanceperiod is 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996 with two one-year options. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) services are available from only one or a limited number of sources. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will beissued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
