TRANSMISSION/DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN THE 100, 200, AND 400 AREAS OF THE
HANFORD SITE, DUE 081095. Contact Bernard L. Ayers, Contracting
Officer, 509/376-8601. The Department of Energy, Richland Operations
Office, is requesting expressions of interest from organizations that
are capable of providing electricity to the various Hanford facilities
located with the 100, 200, and 400 Areas of the Hanford Site in the
State of Washington. Bidders will be required to propose on maintaining
and operating all or parts of the electrical system in the areas
specified herein at the Hanford Site. Hanford currently receives
electric power from the Bonneville Power Administration. The 100 and
200 Areas are at 230 kV and in the 400 Area at 115kV with
transformation to 13.8kV. The proposed service will deliver 13.8kV with
distribution lines to area distribution substations and associated
switchgear up to the facility's electrical service drops. There are
approximately 80 secondary substations associated with these areas and
150 miles of underground/overhead conductor with associated
