The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking Mobile Diagnostic Radiology (MRI's) services for inmates at a correctional facility. Mobile Diagnostic Radiology Services will require contractor (Doctor and Technician) to provide inmates; services in performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI's). The Contractor will provide all equpment for taking, reading, interpreting and recording results of x-rays. The Doctor will perform MRI's and interprets MRI radiographs taken by the MRI Technician. Films are to be read and results are to be returned to the institution within two normal working days. Contractor is responsible for insuring results of readings are properly recorded, signed and authenticated in a timely manner. Maintains necessary records and takes initiative to recommend additional films to obtain clearer diagnosis. Contractor will notify FCI/FPC Medical staff on all significant findings. Contractor shall insure compliance with all required JCAHO and OSHA policies regarding radiology services, including quality assessment and improvement procedures. Contractor must be Board Certified in Radiology and possess current State of Kentucky licensure to practice as a Radiologist. MRI Technician must possess current American Registered Radiology Technologist A.R.R.T. Certification and Operator's Permit for MRI unit. Contractor will be required to perform Mobile Diagnostic Radiology Services at the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp in Manchester, Kentucky for fiscal year 1996, with approximately (100) visits per year.
