Provide onsite services in the field of Hobbycraft Instructor in the Craftatorium of the Recreation Department at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. This is considered a contractual agreement and not a personnel appointment. The estimated issue date of this solicitation is July 15, 1995. The contractor shall provide on a non-discriminatory basis, services for providing hobbycraft instructions, to include, but not limited to, ceramics, art, and leathercraft. Be responsible for developing lesson plans, analyzing and reviewing progress of classes. Monitor inmate class attendance and progress reports for inmates enrolled in the class. Maintain enrollment and completion records for inmates involved in the program. Be able to work with different educational and socio-economic levels of inmates. Be able to work with staff from other institutional departments. Be responsible for writing the hobbycraft curriculums. Services will consist of the following schedule: five sessions per week, a session being defined as three (3) hours in length. The anticipated period of performance is from date of award through September 30, 1996. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This requiremet is set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Code is 7999.
