Y -- REPLACE UNDERGROUND FUEL STORAGE TANKS SOL DAHA23-95-B-0004 due 081595. POC: Contract Specialist, Kerrey Renkemeyer, (314) 526-9550. This agency desires a firm, fixed-price contract for the installation of a fuel station with two 5000 gallon above ground storage tanks. Construction location is Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station, St. Louis, Missouri. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials for the construction of a level II environmental compliance fuel station. The two above ground storage tanks shall have dispensing pumps, leak detection, corrosion protection, and spill/overflow prevention system. Work also includes a computerized key system that monitors expenditures of fuel per vehicle, installation of concrete pavement, asphalt road construction, security fence installation with motorized gates, oil water intercepter, area lights, intercom system and electrical systems to meet current National Electrical codes. All work is to be performed in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. Estimated bid opening date is August 15, 1995 at 2:00 P.M. Upon issuance of Notice to Proceed, performance period is for 120 calendar days. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $500,000. There is a $15.00 non refundable deposit per set of specifications and drawings. The non refundable deposits must be in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, or money order made payable to the U. S. Treasury. Company and personal checks will NOT be accepted.
