Y -- TRAIL CONSTRUCTION-MCKENZIE RANGER DISTRICT, Sol R6-18-95-720. Due 081695. Contact Contract Specialist. Telephone No. 503/465-6506. Two projects, described as follows: 1. Scott Mtn. Trail - this project will consist of relocating approximately 4,070 feet of trail in two sections involving clearing, grubbing, excavation, switchback construction, a short section of raised trailbed and a small rock retaining wall. This project will also include some drainage work on the existing trail which will involve filling rutted trail, constructing log waterbars and armored drain dips (logs). 2. Scotty Way Trail - this project will consist of constructing/relocating several sections of trail. Approximately 2,809 feet of trail reconstruction will be required and 2,801 feet of trail will involve mostly clearing with some grubbing. These projects are located on the McKenzie Ranger District, Lane County Oregon. Estimated start work date is September 1, 1995. Contract performance time is 60 calendar days. Government's estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is set-aside for Labor Surplus Area concerns.
