Solicitation consists of Base Bid and three options, and consists of the following: Replacement of existing fire alarm systems in various buildings at the Naval Air Station with centralized, radio controlled fire alarm systems with wiring and components including manual pull station, horns with strobe combination, sprinkler temper valves, smoke detectors, heat detectors, voice announcement system, replacement of existing master boxes and associated annunciator panels, and incidental related work. Base Bid consists of providing and installing fire warning devices and the associated work identified in the project description above in buildings 386, 135, 117, 2547, 976, 118, 126, 858, 385, 960, 961 and 962. Option 1 consists of providing and installing fire warning devices and the associated work identified in the project description above in buildings 2510, 2544, 130, 369, 995, 2549 and 985. Option 2 consists of providing and installing fire warning devices and the associated work identified in the project description above in buildings 108, 103, 180, 220, 243, 116, 2525, 219 and 2555. Option 3 consists of providing and installing fire warning devices and the associated work identified in the project description above in buildings 856, 874, 2577, 2596, 2631 and 2678. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 19 July 1995 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Contract completion time is 240 calendar days for Base Bid; thirty (30) days for Option 1; thirty (30) days for Option 2; and thirty (30) days for Option 3.
