SOL DTFA08-95-B-10772 POC Nancy Davis, Contracting Officer, (310)297-1581 or Greg Flowers, Contract Administrator, (310)297-0245 Contractor shall provide all necessary supplies, labor, equipment, transportation and services (except those specified as Government furnished) necessary to upgrade the interior electrical dustribution at the Red Bluff ARSR facility, located in Red Bluff, California. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to; replacing the facility main entrance switch and most of the power feeder cables and power distribution panels. Most of the power distribution panels and some of the feeder cables will be Government furnished material. All work is to be performed in strict accordance with FAA specifications and drawings. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1731. The Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 million. This is an unrestricted acquisition in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, Title VII of the Business Opportunity Developement Reform Act of 1988 (P.L. 100-656). This notice BELOW is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to 1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of credit is $500,000.
