This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should indicate interest, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 10 calendar days of this notice by providing to the Contracting Office as a minimum the following information: (a) a positive statement of elgibility as a SDB concern; (b) a positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and point of contacts and telephone numbers; (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested SDB concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as a qualifying SDB. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns by close of business 10 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictve basis without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from all concerns as well as from SDB cocerns. The magnitue of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Taxiway B - remove and replace selective concrete slabs; replace joint seals; paint stripes, mill and overlay bituminous concrete shoulders, provide field testing and surveying; place lean concrete base covers beneath slabs as required; North-South Taxiway extension - pavement demolition; grading; aggregate base course; concrete pavement for airfields; bituminous concrete pavement for airfields; pavement markings; joint sealing; subdrainage systems; drainage systems; taxiway lighting; and turf restoration at Seymour Johnson AFB NC. Solicitation will be available on or about 21 Jul 95. The performance period is approximately 240 calendar days.
