The work includes repairs and repainting of the existing three towers exterior, railing, ladders, stand pipes, gaskets and roof replacement. The work also encludes removal (including lead encapsulation and abatement) and disposal of lead containing paint by latest Federal Code of Regulations on three water towers, roof, railing, stand pipes etc. The proposed acquisition is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business concerns. The following information must be submitted. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office in writing of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible but NLT 13 July 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds from an approved surety and specific info which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete info concerning management experience in similar work and current financial statement shall be submitted with references. If the requested information is not received from an adequate number of SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. Even if you have sent the above information on a prior contract, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. Therefore replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from small disadvantaged business concerns. Estimated cost is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Estimated duration of the contract is 135 calendar days for completion. Plans and specs will be available on or about 02 August 1995.
