all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to
clamshell dredge approximately 7,500 CY of material from the boat
mooring basin and access channel at USCG Station Scituate, MA. Dredge
spoils will be disposed of offshore at the Massachusetts Bay Disposal
Site, located at Lat.42degrees25.7'N, Long.70degrees34.0'W. Contractor
will be required to temporarily relocate two mooring floats from the
boat basin during dredging. Dredge window is expected to fall between
1 October 1995 and 1 April 1996. Dredging permits have been applied for
by the Coast Guard; site work shall not begin until all required
permits have been received. The estimated cost of construction is
between $100K and $250K. Plans and specs issue on or about 7/24/95. To
obtain a bid package, a $20.00 non-refundable check made payable to

Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short- term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation- related contracts.
Loans are availa/ble under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rate up to $500,000 per contract. DOT provides an 80
percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
