Project includes but is not limited to providing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to repair or construct concrete and asphalt pavements, concrete sidewalks, concrete curb and gutter, installation and repair of storm sewer inlets and manholes, pavement stripping, hydro-mulching in strict accordance with the Technical Provisions and Drawings for project, FJSD# 950100A/B, 953023, 960100A/B and 963009. The resulting contract will be a Requirements Contract. Plans and specifications for this project will be issued only on 3 1/2'' computer disks. Plans will be AutoCADD 12 files and specifications will be Microsoft Word for Windows 2.0 files. The magnitude is between $500,000 and $1 Mil. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intentions to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 10 Jul 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonsrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 18 Jul 95. All requests must be in writing and must include the business size (small or large) and whether they are women owned or disadvantaged. (174)
