Z -- REPLACE UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS SOL F03602-95-B0020 DUE 083195 POC David Lenderman, 501-988-6470/Contracting Officer, Loretta J. Zimmer, 501-988-3379. The work shall consist of but is not limited to a) B-314: remove 100 gallon emergency generator underground fuel storage tank, install an above grade vaulted 1000 gallon fuel storage tank with foundation pad, reconnect to existing above grade fuel lines, b) B-1714: remove 550 gallon emergency generator underground fuel storage tank and associated piping, c) B-1090: remove inactive 10,000 gallon underground fuel tank, associated piping, and repair loading dock driveway, remove active 6,000 gallon underground emergency generator fuel storage tank and associated piping, install new 6,000 gallon underground double walled fiberglass fuel storage tank including double walled underground fuel line and related appurtenances and restoring site, providing a monitoring/inventory control system. This is a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The performance period will be 160 days. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but no later than 21 Jul 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Only mail or facsimile requests for bid packages will be accepted.
