D -- RENEWAL OF SAS INSTITUTE SOFTWARE LEASE SOL HCFA-95-31 POC Mr. Lee J. Spicher, Contract Specialist, (410) 786-8919. Pending internal clearance, the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to negotiate, on a Sole Source basis, with SAS Institute, Inc., to procure the leases on the following DOS, Windows and OS2 PC products: Base SAS, SAS, SAS/AF, SAS/ASSIST, SAS/Calc, SAS/CONNECT, SAS/EIS, SAS/FSP, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/Tutor, SAS/STAT, SAS/IML, SAS/INSIGHT, SAS/LAB, SAS/OR, SAS/QC, SAS/RTERM, and SAS/ETS. The period of performance will be a Base Year (9/1/95 - 8/31/96) and a minimum of Two (2) Option Years. The leases will be for proprietary software inclusive of annual maintenance and customer support for SAS software installed on Agency equipment. If there are no affirmative written responses received within 15 days that demonstrate a comparable source more advantageous to the Government, HCFA will proceed with awarding a contract to SAS Institute, Inc.
