The purpose of this market survey by the Bureau of Prisons and U.S. Marshals Service is to identify sources interested in providing all necessary services required to design, construct, and operate a correctional facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. The principal function of the correctional facility will be to provide pre-trial detention services but requirements also may include inmates serving short-term sentences. The correctional facility would be located on property owned by the Federal government and have an estimated population capacity of approximately 300 to 500 inmates. Interested parties submitting a response to this notice should submit a letter expressing their interest in the referenced project along with a brief (2 pages or less) description of their capability to provide the required services. Any response submitted should not be viewed as a vehicle for presenting a specific approach or product intended to be proposed but as an opportunity to express interest in the proposed project. This survey should not be used by offerors to market their products/services. Replies are not mandatory. Replies will be separated from, and have no bearing on, any subsequent evaluation of proposals submitted in response to a formal Request for Proposals. Proprietary information is not being solicited.
