Y -- FY95 TITLE I AND TITLE II AE DESIGN SERVICES SOL F41689-95-R0048 POC Sharon Sheffy tel: 210/652-3845 Title I A & B Optional Title II C Architectural and Engineering Services for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for design services for an indefinite number of projects worldwide. Up to two contracts could be awarded. The projects will generally consist of Addition/Alteration and new commissary projects. Cumulative annual fee paid will be minimum of $5,000 and a maximum of $750,000 per contract year. Estimated contract start date is August 1995 and will remain in effect for approximately one year and one option year. Individual negotiated firm fixed delivery orders will be issued against the contract. Except for the initial delivery order, no subquent order shall exceed $299,000. Significant factors include: (1) specialized foundation/structural system distress investigation experience, (2) recent specialized experience in the design of DoD commissaries and retail food outlets by the professional personnel who would be assigned to the project. Experience should include design of refrigeration systems, heat recovery and other energy conservation measures with emphasis placed on structural expertise; (3) professional qualifications of key personnel assigned to the projects to assure satisfactory performance of required services including subcontractors and consultants; (4) professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the work in the required time; (5) past performance on contracts in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with the schedule; (6) contract management experience, abilities and staffing to include ability to perform full or part time construction inspection; (7) location of the main firm and/or sattelite firms; (8) volume of work previously awarded to the firm by DoD with the objective of effecting an equitable distribution of contracts among qualified A & E firms. Provide a list of DoD awards and fees received for each award by year for the past four years.
