Furnish all labor, equipment, and material necessary for Replacement of Eight Exterior Air Handling Units in Buildings 5678 and 5687, Redstone Arsenal, AL. The work includes demolition of existing units, and possible enlargement of concrete housekeeping pad where air handlers are to be located, depending on units to be supplied. Canopies shall be built over each unit. All units shall have economizers. The contractor shall furnish and install a new return air grill and ductwork serving unit number 2 in Building 5678, and a Direct Digital Control hardware with local interface and pneumatic actuating control capability. The contractor shall replace all motor starters/disconnect switches and feeder circuits for the HVAC equipment being replaced, and shall test, adjust, and balance the HVAC in both buildings. IFB DAAH03-95-B-0019 will be issued on or about August 1, 1995 and will open on or about September 1, 1995. Completion time is 315 calendar days. This will be an unrestricted procurement under the DIGS Program. Cost range $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. A limited number of sets will be available.
