Z -- RENOVATION OF X-RAY FACILITY, BLDG 3001, TINKER AFB, OK SOL DACA56-95-B-0053 DUE 082495 POC Chief, Contracting Division, 918/669-7275. Description of Work: The facility shall be upgraded to a Shielded Unrestricted Installation. Work includes, but is not limited to, removing existing hoist monorail, sliding door and supporting structure. Construct a permanent wall with shielding to 17 feet and lowering the ceiling and sprinkler heads to 17 feet and install lead shielding on the ceiling. Remove existing floor tile and level floor and install combination of lead, plywood and industrial covering on the floor. Construct sliding door with electrical controls, interlock and rotating beacon on the north wall. Install four-feet fluorescent light fixtures and dent resistance material on all walls to 48'' above the floor. Construct lead baffle around plumbing entrance, install a light-tight revolving door, install eight-foot dropped ceiling with sprinklers in the Control Room. Estimated cost range of this project is $250,000 to $500,000. Cost for plans and specifications are $13.00 (half-size) and $15.00 (full-size).
