In general, the work will consist of removing two each existing 265 Horse Power steam boilers and replace with two each new 350 Horse Power Scotch Marine Steam boilers. The existing boiler feed water system and water softener will be replaced. The steam piping, gas and oil piping flues, and other items will be replaced or modified as necessary. Estimated range is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small or small disadvantaged business. Solicitation packages are available for a nonrefundable fee of $20.00 and must be requested in writing.
