The Government requests proposals to provide ''pop-up'' satellite transmitting electronic tags (PSTET) for use in Pacific broadbill swordfish pelagic fisheries investigations conducted in the Central North Pacific. The technical basis of the PSTET shall be an integration of an electronic archival tag, satellite communications hardware, and a programmable release mechanism to form a ''pop-up'' archival tag. This is for three copies of a prototype PSTET. Delivery required by 03/15/96. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. (0181)
