The Pacific Contracting Center, Tripler Army Medical Center intends to negotiate with Biomerieux Vitek, Inc., 595 Anglum Drive, Hazalwood, MO 63402 on a sole source basis to purchase a Microbiology Analyzer System. In accordance with FAR 6.301-1, it has been determined that Biomerieux Vitek, Inc., is the only responsible source that offers a closed Microbiology Analyzer System that is unique in dealing with safety issues and biological hazardous organisms.
