70 -- AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE CLEANER/TEST AND CARTRIDGE QUALITY MONITORING SOFTWARE AND SUPPLY KIT SOL DABT60-95-T-0001 DUE 072195 POC Contract Specialist, Patricia Paige, (804) 878-4908 The Government has a requirement for Automatic Cartridge Cleaner/Tester and Cartridge Quality Monitoring Software and Supply kit to include the following features: a). Automatic Tape Cartridge Cleaner/Tester with CQM Software qty. three (3) ea. The features listed are essential to the minimum needs of the Government for a cartridge magnetic tape cleaning/scanning system for 1/2 inch, C3480 cartridge tape for use in IBM 3480/3490 tape drives. The salient characteristics for item (a) is as follow: the cleaning/scanning system shall be capable of detecting and locating physical defects in the tape surface as well as cleaning the surface of removable debris; the system shall provide accounting and record-keeping capabilities to provide a history of both tape cleaning and defects encountered. b). Supply Kits Part Number qty. six (6) ea. The salient characteristics for item (b) is as follow: each kit shall process 2500 cartridges and contain one (1) blade; three (3) dozen tissue spools; one (1) package defect labels; one (1) bottle cleaning solution; two (2) packages swabs, and one (1) package lint free cloths.
