C -- OPEN END INDEFINITE DELIVERY A/E SERVICES Sol DAHA04-95-R-0020. Due 080195. POC Contract Specialist, Cathie Collins, (805) 594-6287. Open End (Indefinite Delivery) contract for architectural/engineering services (Type A, B, and, at the Government Option, Type C Services) for design projects at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, Los Alamitos, California as may be ordered for a period of one year after contract award (with an option to extend for an additioal year). The A/E will receive a minimum of $5,000.00 design fees, no individual delivery order shall be less than $5,000.00 or more than $75,000.00, and total fees paid under the resultant contract shall not exceed $200,000.00 annually. Work will include preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for each project. Projects may include a new sewer line with lift station, general building maintenance repair or renovation (all trades), and the rehabilitation of the following systems: Natural Gas Distribution, Underground Electrical Circuitry, and Aircraft Hanger Fire-Suppression systems. Evaluation and selection of the firm will be based on the following criteria: 1) Professional qualifications 2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; 4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedule; 5) Geographical location and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided that application of the criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the projects; and 6) Total dollar amount of DOD fees awarded in the past 12 months. 7) Small and small disadvantaged businesses. Type of contract is indefinite delivery. This is an unrestricted announcement. The estimated start and completion dates of the projects are unknown at this time. Firms will indicate on their SF255's the total number of DOD awards within the past 12 months prior to the date of the announcement. Personal visits for the purpose of discussing the projects are discouraged. A/E firms which meet requirements described in this announcement and wish to be considered must submit SF254 and SF255 data.
